Holly Golightly:

Euphoria is one of the most beautiful fragrances I’ve tried in a long time. The scent is simliar to Chanel’s Chance, which I absolutely love. It’s soft yet somewhat sophisticated. So why only one star? It doesn’t last. I sprayed on a generous amount and half an hour later could barely detect a hint of the fragrance, even when holding my wrist directly under my nose. I repeated this experiment (since I had bought the bottle) several days in a row, always with the same result.

Bottom line is that Euphoria, while a great fragrance, has very poor staying quality and at its price is not a good value.

I don’t know what the hype is all about. Apparently, half the women out there are wearing it…so much for trying to be unique. I gave this 3 stars for its staying power but it’s definitely not for everyone. I bought the perfume based on good reviews here and let just say I will either try them in stores or buy samplers first from now on. It’s somewhat over-powering for me. (Reminded me of when Poison first came out and someone wore it to school…almost killed half the class with the smell). Maybe it does not mix with my chemistry or the tropical climate. I gave it to my friend’s mother who lives abroad and she loves it. Personally I think it’s over 35 scent. It’s very womanly and confident…think Samantha in Sex and the City. Flowers that bloom and give off scents at night. Anyhow, you should try it in store before order it. (My perfumes collection includes Magnatism, Pacific Paradise, Island (Michael Kors), Baby Doll, Yves Saint Rose du Bois, Envy, Envy Me, Dior Addict 2 Logomania).
